Born and raised in The Bronx, New York it seems only natural RAC would be influenced by Hip-Hop at an early age. RAC quickly gravitated to the spoken word, easy to sing along to lyrics driven by the smooth rhythms and simple boom-bap beats of the old school, blaring from his older brother's stereo. At the same time music of all forms seeped into RAC's life, from his parents' Italian music, to House music and Freestyle music being played in his neighborhood, later to Reggae and Techno in the clubs and classical/traditional music playing in the school band.
RAC's first instrument was the saxophone. Then smacking branches (as drumsticks) on logs during family trips upstate, brought the beats to life, allowing RAC to express feelings in a familiar form yet in his own way. It was then he developed a passion to create what he loved and fueled his life.
Finding friends rapping in the schoolyard he began to make beats for them to rhyme over.
RAC's production forms out of the eclectic influence of music and lifestyles he has lived and encountered. Disciplined, respectful, clean-cut, big, bold, strong and knows how to have fun, these adjectives can describe RAC and his music one in the same. Working in genres from heavy metal to R&B, children's music to rap, and with a degree from the Institute of Audio Research, one thing that keeps consistent is that RAC keeps it official and professional.
